Re: I just feel so sad
Good Evening @ArraDreaming ,
So it sounds like you did end up going to your mum's.
Considering what has happened, you have every right to feel sad. Death is not something you can 'get over' overnight. Grieving is a process.
We are here to support you through this.
At this time, do you think your partner is able to support you? Or do you have someone else you can speak to?
I'll also share Griefline with you: https://griefline.org.au/
They specialise in helping people through grief. They may be able to talk through some of what you are feeling.
Please take care,
tyme

Re: I just feel so sad
Hugs @ArraDreaming . It's so beautiful that you have such an incredible support with you to hear you out. That's a very special relationship.
For tonight, I hope you have a good rest. Things will feel different once you have a rest. I'll keep in touch 🙂

Re: I just feel so sad
I feel so alone in this process I don’t want my partner involved and that’s a decision we made together but i feel so alone in this whole process im one of so many yet the only person who seems to be affected by this and doing anything is me

Re: I just feel so sad
I absolutely hear you @ArraDreaming . I am glad you are able to feel a sense of pride even though it was such a difficult task. You did it, and that's what counts. I think what you have done today shows great strength, and speaks to your values - I'm also very proud of you.
I think it would be a really good idea to speak to Griefline (phone/webchat) when you get a chance in the week. They have strategies and a way of talking about loss in way that is way beyond what I could share with you.
You are not alone.
