Something’s not right

My Mosaic

Re: My Mosaic

@rav3n  I can try talk to my SW tomorrow about it. And I wanna try talk to my old SW who is now the team leader. Need to lay some boundaries I guess? Do you think that’s fair?

daughter is still up. Need to wait for her to go to bed 😩 I’m just so done

Re: My Mosaic

I have a 2023 RAV4 @rav3n  but it’s not hybrid. That will be my next car…hopefully.

The website says 8-12 weeks for probate but in reality it is much longer. We’ll just wait and see.

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow yess that sounds perfect! definitely worth discussing those boundaries with your SW. to me, it sounds pretty reasonable to expect someone to reach out to you at least in terms of checking what you need for that class (both in terms of materials and support).

oh nooo, that's tough. hope she's in bed now??

@Eve7 i was looking into some used rav4's too! i do like it but i was worried it was a bit too big for me... do you feel its quite big to drive and park?

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah @rav3n  just tucked daughter in, sorted all the animals out, took my meds and crawled into bed. Now my anxiety is through the roof

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow it's definitely not easy, but you got D and yourself to bed and that's a big enough win for tonight.

your new and old SW seem like they would understand how you feel, so when you do talk to them about it, i have a good feeling they'd get it. and fingers crossed they start checking-in and confirming when they ask you to facilitate in the future too.

Re: My Mosaic

My old car was a Corolla and it was too small and low to the ground @rav3n  This one is far easier to get in and out of and I don’t have trouble parking it at all.

Re: My Mosaic

Well all that stress and anxiety over running arts and craft today for nothing.
I mentally prepared for this for days, I prepared tools for the activity and all. I arrived at the office and started rummaging through the untidy arts and craft drawers for things that were needed. Then the 2 staff members that were in the office facilitating today come in and asked everyone what they were doing today and started throwing out suggestions. Oh I should rewind to last week where I bought in some of the little mini books that I had made as the week before that a couple of the other clients had asked if I would lead an activity. They liked them. The team leader liked them and approved for me to do it next week and approved for a staff member to go purchase some special glue from spotlight. He went and did that last week.
what the Fark? I discreetly put things away and quietly sat down on my own. I don’t have the confidence to say anything.
I was frustrated. Disappointed. Annoyed. And I am frustrated with myself that I allow such stupid little things to get to me so much.

prior to that I had my pdoc appointment. He added another god dam pill. Sigh.

after that I seen my CM. She asked a lot of questions. Including a million about why I didn’t attend my psych appointment last week. I had already informed them that I didn’t sleep and I got my daughter to school and just went back to sleep not even registering that I had appointments that day, I was so blinking tired.

oh and my daughter comes home from school this afternoon crying cause a kid slapped her in the face.

😩

Re: My Mosaic

Sounds like you've had a bit of a doozy of a day @Bow

Are you able to feel any relief at all over the arts and crafts mix up? I know that it was a whole mess around, but at least it's done now

How's your poor daughter? That must be hard to hear as a parent! Kids can be so mean sometimes

Re: My Mosaic

Heya @Bow hun, sorry to hear it's been such a stressful day ðŸ¥º

I totally know the feeling of getting yourself SO READY for something and then having that rug pulled out from under the feet - so destabilising!! And you end up feeling all deflated and ick, like the wind's all gone from your sails ðŸ˜©

I hope they remember and give you the opportunity again - when you are keen for it of course!

Aww no your poor D!! That is rough as, is she ok?
