Re: Changing meds

Not sure about growing and healing - but the healing part, yes! @Anastasia

I've improved since seeing my psychologist, but Unfortunatley the psychiatrist undose the work we do. We maybe I let him!!

As our lovely appleblossom advised, I need to stop allowing him so much power.
Incompetent practitioner he is

Re: Changing meds

Dear @WIP

Sorry your weekend has been a difficult one for you.  And the aching neck would not be helping at all. 😵

How wonderful that your psychologist has referred you to a social worker for visits.  What a caring, thoughtful and productive person she is.  This is what they are meant to do of course ... but isnt it nice when they actually do it?

As you say, any social interaction for you right now, is a positive.  I really hope that the social worker you get, is someone you have something in common with.

@Anastasia @Bow ... love the pictures you both posted ... very true.

@Appleblossom  ... good afternoon to you Apple.

Re: Changing meds

Hi @Emelia8

How are you going? I realise you've had a rough weekend too.

The neck is the least of my worries - sore back, bad digestion and terrible anxiety to boot. Sometimes I wonder if it's all worth putting up with - then I think of others who have it worse, people such as yourself. You seem to handle it all ok.

I'm a bit reserved about meeting the 'social worker' if that's what they are called. My psych described them as a friendly personality who understands what I'm going thru. It should be good though, but will take time to get organised I predict. Everything in the mental health system take time....a lot of time!

I hope you've survived your weekend ok? You've been quiet and I understand why, so really appreciate your post.

How's little Holly going? 🐾🤗💖

Re: Changing meds

I'm okay thanks @WIP ... just feeling a bit sorry for myself I guess.  Feeling unworthy, a burden.

Dear little Holly .. she's sweet.  Just finished her dinner and looking up at me wanting a chewy treat.  How's Levi?

Perhaps this person is more of a peer support worker?  Or a potential friend?  Either way, it sounds promising.

Yes I know you have a long standing back injury, something that just doesnt go away.

Oh dear WIP ... you say I seem to handle it all okay.  I assure you that you couldn't be more wrong about that.

Just waiting on your latest pic to come through @Anastasia
