Hey @tonys
How are you?
I haven't been online for a couple of days. Your 2 letters showed up in my notifications. I have caught up in reading this thread (old rag) now.
Thanks so much for your message. I had to read over your description of using your big toe on the shift key a few times before I 'got it'. Lucky you wrote "just kidding" in capitals! I agree that you are a breath of fresh air.
I'm so happy you found us here & you seem to enjoy contributing. Your input is valued!
Well done with learning the new skills for the website. You are doing great. I also find it impressive, & a great personal reminder, to see that you ask so many questions.
I'm always happy to hear anything about the farm. It's basically the opposite of being here online. I have a little sympathy for your poor chook. Enjoy those eggs. I'm imagining how much nicer they must be, compared to the regular supermarket ones.
I adore your light heartedness!
Kind regards,
maddison

@NatureLover just found this letter in my machine. thanks for those tips , can i say that im glad some one checks over my notes, because i think some one fixed up some spelling and skipped words for me , i would be more worried if someone didnt give it the , once over, Any micro adjustmentS or redirecting mail where i hopped it would go, is gratefully accepted. just worry that a thankyou kite or compliment doesnt go where it was meant to. i ve already sent a letter to some ones post that was 2 years old and i only just found this piece to reply to today, but im going to worry less about that know,. i think people get that if i dont repply, its because i just somehow didnt see their letters.. thanks again tonys

Good morning @tonys ... The moderators don't actually fix up our spelling or anything. If a post doesn't meet the guidelines then they will remove the post temporarily and email us to suggest we change it so we can re-post it. That's all.
Are you enjoying the forums? 🙂

@NatureLover hi thankyou for clearing that up, i forget to read something before sending it. and have trouble with shift keys, but its giving me practice, wasnt sure if i was in a forum, [ learning to love again) but found a letter in there that was two years old and answered it and people replyed to them, so did i reboot some old forum. finding a letter and answering it, thats all i know how to do, and im enjoying that. i think the people that are writing back are the ones that are running the show down there, and i dont want to over tax them. one day i will find, a letter in some totally new spot, thats current, and write something relevant, its all about making booboos, clicking on new spots on the page, then down a new wormhole and and hoping i can find my way back or remembering where i started. definatley better than trying nothing at all. thanks to all working there that take time to check on every ones posts. i ll bet theres some line ball calls. stay safe.. tonys

Morning @tonys,
You're not overtaxing any of us 😊 We genuinely enjoy chatting with you, both the peer support workers and the forums community alike.
I wouldn't worry too much about spelling/grammar etc. Sure these things help to read along, but they're also kinda just social conventions, and most of us are able to read along without too much trouble I suspect.
If you want to let people know you're responding to their posts you can add an @ symbol in front of their name, like this @Former-Member or @tonys. The name will highlight in blue so you know you've "tagged" them. That will then send an email notification to the member (if they have email notifications turned on) and/or send a notification within the Forums. You can find those notifications along the top right of the webpage (next to your profile button, see image attached, and the "NEW" tab).
Glad to see you're enjoying the community, and if you need any help never hesitate to reach out.

just found your letter thanks for nice word . made me think im best when i stick to my little patch of the planet so hears a confession from the farm. im learning my new friend mr google cant always be trusted, i saw a thing on there about dying hair with oranges. it happens that ive got tons of oranges and love science experiments so thought id give it a go. so with my cork screw grey mop soaked in orange mash i went off to dreamland on my comfy old couch with a rubbish bag under my head.. now i have my regular crew of resident ants and we get on fine. they get all the crumbs that my lazy broom does not and never bill me for it. But who new these guys had so many mates. they must have invited every ant in the district to a orrange marmalade free for all on my head. i went from the best dream ever to wrap dancing in the shower in a panicked frenzy. the critters have organized, unionized, and turned against me. so i couldnt do much on my machine yesterday. and the result. its not gray its not ,...well im not sure what to call it. i look like an startled tomcat with chronic chicken pox. any way , tomorrow its my old trucks birthday i think, no time concepts hear,, so i got the paint roller out and mixed a few old cans of paint and lets just hope ants dont eat paint too.. think this letter was meant to go to madisson and i forgot to do the shift @maddison thing at the start so ill just let this kite go and hope it lands some where, bless you all ..tonys

@NatureLover thanks. if i can make some one laugh maybe it will add a day to there life. painted the old truck and it looks swell, you have to warm the paint up on the stove first before you roll it on. then you dont get lines from the paint roller. the only thing i dont get though is regardless of what old cans of paint i mix together i always get the same color. battle ship grey.. hope you have a top day. tonys

@NatureLover yes, on my own for some time, have a cranky lady that comes here from time to time to help me with paying bills and money, but since the geese attacked her, we are not on speaking terms. im on her side. i know most of my faults and disabilities, and ill bet theres more than a few i dont. she laughs and shakes her head in despair a lot, if i pester her with one more question, she will debunk, and new victims are hard to find. the menagerie of animals here sees anything on 2 legs as a possible food source. a lady from the church came once with good intentions and a nice new dress. well swamp thing, my big dog that has a bad habit of rolling around in cow pads, took one look at her and it was love at first sight... the aftermath... i copped a big bill, swamp thing left gratified, and the poor lady left with a broadened view of the evils of the world. i still get cards and letters from all my girl friends past, so how bad can i be... people seem to find like minded people on the net these days, hence my onerous foray into this world. at least i have a few personalities and we all have each other, sorry about all that , yes i live alone... with my animals. a warm fairwell from all of us... tonys.
