Hi @Capricorn84
It’s so lovely to hear from you 💜
It was my pleasure to welcome you to the forums and I think that it’s wonderful that you’re reaching out for support 💜
Suddenly learning things about yourself that you weren’t previously aware of, sounds incredibly confronting and as such, I just ever so gently wanted to encourage you to be patient and gentle with yourself as you begin to process all of this new information 💜
Oh Capricorn84 💜 I’m so deeply sorry to hear that you were sexually assaulted and my heart goes out to you 💜 In my experience, the trauma associated with sexual assault can be absolutely devastating and as such, it’s completely understandable that your memories are fragmented and as a result, you’re still trying to piece everything together 💜
Sometimes when we’ve experienced trauma, the opportunity to be able to make decisions in relation to our care and recovery can be especially important and as such, I just ever so gently wondered if there’s anything in particular that would be helpful for you?
Please know that I’m thinking of you at such a difficult and distressing time 💜
Take kind and gentle care of yourself,
ShiningStar 💜
