Some times there are no words for what is inside

Trauma steals your voice

You don’t know how to express the brokenness within

Other than with a k***e

Shame and guilt locks you away in a pain filled cage

Sinking further away from reality

Overwhelmed with a sense of powerlessness

Longing for some sort of control

Unhealthy coping mechanisms is all you have got

Disconnected and misunderstood

There is no freedom or escape

For inside she cries silent tears
