@Glisten like any skill, it takes some practice. But I'm glad to hear you're gonna give it a shot - feel free to report back with how you go. I think it's helpful to remember that all emotions serve some sort of purpose - it helps me to think of it in evolutionary/survival terms. They are there to keep us safe, though they can become maladaptive/overactive at the wrong times, and so being patient and gentle with them has been helpful for me to accepting them, befriending them, and giving them the space they need to move through me. If that makes sense 😅
