I just want to say, upon a bit more reflection over the past day, this thread has genuinely got me feeling invigorated in a way I haven't felt in a long while.

I used to love drawing, and I thought I got pretty good at it (although I'd never dare think that of myself at that time), and when life took a big ol swing, my hobbies were some of the first things to fall off the horse, including drawing.

Art block had entered the chat.

They're just kids drawings videos, yet I spent half the day excitedly trying out different mediums (because I had a massive pile of mystery supplies to try out), and felt very accomplished by the end of it.

I also have never really historically gone for simplistic drawing before but there's a real art to it and I genuinely found it challenging in a fun and unexpected way.

It also reminded me that I can feel grief for what was, accept that I am no longer there (the past), and be excited and embrace something new.

So yeah. This thread is a cute idea and rules.
