Hi @Harmonium
You did a great with your coin photography. My ex used to take photos of wine bottles and we ended up buying a photo box (can't think of it's correct name at the moment), so he could chose from which direction the light was coming from, and where it would appear on the bottle. But that is in storage along with all my other photography lights and equipment.
When I started and wanted to get into noodling, I purchased a Jiusion 2K HD 2560x1440P USB Digital Microscope for Android Cellphone and Tablet Windows Mac Linux, 40X to 1000X Magnification Endoscope Handheld Mini Magnifier Camera for $46.99. I haven't used it a lot so far, as I quickly lost interest. But for the purpose of noodling, I think it is fantastic. It comes with a stan, but after reading the reviews, saying that the stand was too flimsy, I purchased a stronger one.
Because I have limited money these days, I really want to sit down with my decimal currency collection that I started, and see what coins are missing, and also to look for errors in the coins that I have collected so far. But I need to balance my time in some way to allow for the workshops I have signed up for, and to read some books I have purchased recently. And all the while not getting overwhelmed by it all.
If I find anything special when I go through my coins, I will definitely be posting it on here.
