Hi @Harmonium that dollar coin. WOW! You would probably know more about what has caused the damage that I would.  The only damage that I have seen in coin is the green cancer (oxidation). Do you know if you have coins that have the green cancer, yoy should not store it with other coins, as apparently it will spread to the other coins. 

 

I absolutely love the detail in the Gardens of Babylon coin. Yes very nice. 

 

I really wanted to do noodling, but after my bank refused to give me my money in rolls and limited me to $50, I was disheartened.  And now I can't afford it. So have given up. I just check whatever change I get.  I try to use cash whenever I can.
