Yes, OCD does become more powerful during times of stress, illness or when you are tied @SageSolid

Yes @Shaz51 ,try to split things into what you do and don't have control over. Focus more on what you do 😉

 Each individual experience with an anxiety disorder varies. However, there are a few common forms of anxiety disorders we know of (either from personal experience or through news/media, etc.)

What are the different types of anxiety disorders that you know ?

There are many different types of anxiety disorders.

 

Social Anxiety again everyone is different and what one person can do someone else cannot do.  A child may not be able to ask or answer questions in the classroom, may not be able to attend birthday parties, do sports in teams or individually.  Adults may not be able to do a presentation at meetings or have lunch with workmates or may not be able to work at all.

Panic Attacks can strike at any time and cause trembling, heart palpitations, shortness of breath

And many more, these are frightening and can eventually stop people from leaving the house.

Social, situational and post as in PTSD. Social is not much of an issue atm lol but I have that pretty much under control. The anxiety from PTSD is the deep rooted bugger.

As my husband has MI and does not like shopping,  parties , can not stand too much outings
