It's great to catch up with you @Former-Member.
Yes I've already decided on the name for my new pup! Although it's a fairly common name, surprisingly the stud doesn't yet have a dog with her name, so she'll be "stud name Axxxx" as she will be a registered Working Kelpie Council of Australia dog. I'm not sure yet but I may let her have one litter.

Thanks @utopia. Yes it is exciting and I'm hoping I can make the move in early spring. Spring is a time of birth and growth. Could there be any better time to start these last few chapters of my life?

I've realised that retirement could lead to an isolated life as bad as it was when I was very unwell and hiding from the world. I'm now volunteering with 3 different organisations but I need more because I'm managing to read 7 books a week!

It will take me a wee while to catch up with everyone so I know how things are with you atm.

Dear @Kurra, so glad you recognise your big changes and the need to go gentle on yourself 👍 I'm listening intently because i am facing the same big changes soon, alone, and have no idea where to begin. I do thank you for sharing. Please keep me tagged in your updates. With your planned pup - I've had kelpies and while very intelligent they are very active dogs who bored easy. I'm wondering if a quieter breed might be better for you 🐶

Hey @Kurra always good to see you! It sounds like life is treating you kinder at the moment and for that I am glad for you. A kelpie puppy sounds exciting and is certainly something to look forward to. 🙂 I hope you find the perfect place in a rural setting where you can hang your hat. xx
