Hi @Anxiousmavis , I'm glad your have a psychologist, they are hard to get in to see at the moment if you don't have one, so that's good at least.
Good luck finding a psychologist that specialises in OCD 🙂 (I mean that sincerely, I'm not being cynical) And also a GP that specialises in mental health too.

My mum is my best friend and has been through all of this , you know it helps so much when mums are there for us with support and understanding. I know it’s hard to know exactly what your child is going through , and sometimes it’s hard to see us suffering mentally but believe me just being there helps , showing up for us and seeking to understand is worth so much. Respect to you parents , partners , family and friends who try and help us as much as they can through support, learning and just being there
