Tw Not Coping

all ok here @Captain24 we dont get flooded but we get cut off so we have to rely on our little town

Monsoons sound pretty bad. Does your little town have enough supplies or do they have to get airlifted in?

should have enough @Captain24 , yesterday we did a trip to the shops 40 minutes away in the pouring rain , it was soo heavy , had to go get new glasses as mine are broken

How long does it last for @Shaz51. I remember doing some thing about it at school.

it can last for the summer months, usually 6 to 8 weeks of non stop rain @Captain24 , @Birdofparadise8 , @RiverSeal , @creative_writer , @tyme 

and then it depends on any lows forming into cyclones , but the water usually disappears very quickly

@Birdofparadise8, it has been pretty warm lately, it is at least going to get cooler as we approach autumn.

Hi @RiverSeal, hope you are well💖. That is a good point. It’s just that, I’ve found myself forcing myself to stay for a good amount of time on a call I didn’t find helpful because I was too scared of being rude and still feel unsure how I could end a call. I know logically the other person is trying to help, but if someone jumps into problem solving mode too quickly, it sort of triggers me because I feel like my problems are too hard for other people and I’m left to sit with things by myself. I’ve felt so alone my entire life, like my emotions are too big for other people to sit with. I shut down and end up giving very short answers because I’m too distressed. It’s about balance, you do need a good few mins but you don’t have to stay for 40mins.

Very much so I don't have aircon in my room, so it is gross @creative_writer.

No @Captain24 , a big cyclone now and again might hit but a lot goes back out to see which is good
