💖. That is a good point. It’s just that, I’ve found myself forcing myself to stay for a good amount of time on a call I didn’t find helpful because I was too scared of being rude and still feel unsure how I could end a call. I know logically the other person is trying to help, but if someone jumps into problem solving mode too quickly, it sort of triggers me because I feel like my problems are too hard for other people and I’m left to sit with things by myself. I’ve felt so alone my entire life, like my emotions are too big for other people to sit with. I shut down and end up giving very short answers because I’m too distressed. It’s about balance, you do need a good few mins but you don’t have to stay for 40mins.
