Something’s not right

Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

@ENKELI, I did secure a job for a few months, it was okay, but I moved back to studies. I did work from home, so that was an advantage when everything was under COVID lockdowns. I also feel sometimes one can be too qualified too. Though COVID wasn’t the best time of my life, it was terrible. Lots of trauma stuff kept popping up and my mood was far from balanced so SI was thrown into the mix.

Do you have any plans for the weekend?

Re: Not Coping

@ENKELI ragdolls are so cute. I’m sure if I saw I’ll have the urge to bite his cute fluffy face. Having regular sleep patterns is so important for bipolar. I know if my sleep patterns shift, mood gets affected

Re: Not Coping

Hahahahaha, no definitely @tyme

Pucking Around

PUCKING AROUND is a spicy 'why choose' hockey romance. This book stands alone as the first in a brand new hockey romance series. For a full list of tropes, tags, and CWs, see the author's website.

My 16-year-old cousin has read it and said I would like it.

Okay, it was a good session, but I just feel bad. If you want to read it. It would give more context as to why he said I was being passive-aggressive at one point, and silly I was in the moment upset I said something mean I didn't even say sorry.

Re: Not Coping

Do you know what synaptic plasticity is @tyme?

Re: Not Coping

@creative_writer if you can study instead of work that's what I would do too. I was fortunate that I was able to draw on my super during COVID so I could pay my mortgage otherwise I would have been shot. I was out of full time work for nearly 18 months, I had a few casual jobs for a month or 2 here and there and I was also home schooling my Godchildren for a stage so that kept me busy.

I finally got full time casual work, was bullied and told I was no longer required, then got the job I was forced to leave last year again due to bullying.
That's the other thing that worries me, am I going to be bullied again?

I have an 80's Quiz Night on Saturday and will probably start a diamond painting. I also want to check the freezers and maybe do some cooking.

How about yourself, aside from keeping cool?

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 I KNEW it had something to do with nutrition!

What field do you want to end up working in?

I wanted to get into sound engineering after I left school and studied at the Academy of Performing Arts for 2 years. I deferred when my grandmother passed away and never went back. I wish I had but there is too much in life to regret as it is...

I always get a warm happy feeling when it's a subject I know so I'm happy to hear you're looking forward to it.

How many classes do you have each week?

Re: Not Coping

I'm on campus three days a week. I also live on campus, hahaha.

Tomorrow I have 6 hours of classes. @ENKELI

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 so no excuse for being late to class!! Lol!

6 hours, that will keep you occupied.

I wouldn't mind doing some online study to keep my brain active but I don't know what I'd study. Maybe how to motivate people ha ha ha!

Re: Not Coping

@ENKELI I hope the new job you get is a good fit for you and is a nurturing environment. I don’t think any job is worth your mental health. When I was initially allocated a crap placement last year, it was very rough. Constantly felt judged and not supported. I was so stressed that I would disassociate and even had flashbacks on placement. Yet my behaviour was misread as not interested. Once I got the re-allocation I could tell the difference

Re: Not Coping

Yes no excuse, lol @ENKELI

That sounds cool. I'm sure could find something.

You could do MH peer work and offer that for free as well. You'd also make a great peer worker.

Never too late to start.
