Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

Everything is ok @Birdofparadise8

I'm doing online training

Re: Not Coping

Ah okay @Blackbird11

Have fun.

Re: Not Coping

We finished early tonight @Birdofparadise8 and it was really helpful.

Re: Not Coping

That's good to hear @Blackbird11

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 your secret is out - now I know who to call on for all the good recipes!

I wish there was something we could do or say to make you feel not so sad. I get frustrated because I want to be able to say the right thing and make you feel better but I don't know what it is that I can say. And don't apologise, I'm frustrated at myself because my own thoughts - I have high expectations of myself and often fall short of those expectations which is normal. I've always had high expectations and it's a fault not a feature when you set the bar so high it's not achievable.

So if I ever say I am frustrated that I can't help or something, please don't feel bad. It's my twisted brain and part of my own MH issues 😍

Re: Not Coping

Ah okay @ENKELI

Re: Not Coping

@ENKELI, we all respond the meds and stress differently. Quality hair products are pricey, but I find it worth it. My hair is as dry as the Sahara desert and needs lots of love. I have resorted to using hair masks instead of conditioners every wash.

I’m glad to hear the meds helped with urges. I’ve had to increase my dose of one of my meds so I’m not so suicidal.

Do you think you could look for work or even volunteer work, it doesn’t have to be and intensive workload, might provide some structure.

I hope this year is better for you too 💖🫂

Re: Not Coping

@creative_writer I don't have an option, I have to find work so I can pay my mortgage. My parents help out when they can but they aren't in a position to support me and as a woman in her 50's I should be supporting myself.

If I had the choice I would do volunteer work. I'd been doing one form or other of volunteer work for the past 25 years until last year.

I have an appointment with a job services agency on Monday and I am going to make them work for their bonus. I've been applying for positions but not getting responses.

As @Birdofparadise8 knows, it's difficult finding work at this time of year.

I hope it's not too uncomfortable under your blanket, summer is not kind to those of us who need hiding places under the covers. 🫂

Re: Not Coping

@ENKELI, I wish you the best in your job searching. I hope something turns up soon. I imagine it would be a difficult time to find work. I remember looking for work around this time of year during COVID. I took some time off between my last degree and my current degree.

It’s not too hot today, thankfully, but that is to change in the next few days. It’s crazy the weather will go into the late 30s this weekend in Melbourne

Re: Not Coping
