I didn’t see the pics @Birdofparadise8 🙂
I would love to hear about your study, if you’d like to share? ☺️🌺

Hahha thanks @Former-Member
Oh no, I didn't know. I'm really bad at working out people's age and gender on here. I get mixed up a lot.
Wait, you know I'm female, right?
Yes, that 's when your heartbeat is low, right?
That's not good.
Highlights are real. That sounds cool.
Wait, did I say can? I mean, I can't talk to her about MH.

This one is on the digestion of protein. So we had egg, pepsin, and either water, HCl or NaOH and they were all incubated to see how the protein would get digested.
The second one is on Carbohydrates, so we had amylase and then HCl or water, with the analyses in the other. One got cooked for a bit. Then we split it into two test tubes and did the Lugol's test, as you can see, there are three darker colour test tubes, so this means starch is present, whereas the yellow/amber one means there is no starch present.
The third one is the Beneditc's test add 5 ml of Benedict’s reagent to each of the four
solutions, and place the four tubes in boiling water for 10 min.
If the solution is blue (like the Benedict’s reagent), there is no maltose present in the solution
If the solution has a greenish coloration, then a small amount of maltose is present (+)
If the solution has a yellowish coloration, then a moderate amount of maltose is present (+++)
If the solution has a orange or reddish coloration, then a large amount of maltose is present.
This had the same things as the above; it has the amylses.
This one was just on fat and we were testing the pH.
Add 3.0 ml heavy cream to each tube
3. Add the following to each tube (See Figure below):
TUBE 1: 5 ml water and a few grains of bile salts
TUBE 2: 5 ml pancreatin solution
TUBE 3: 5 ml pancreatin and a few grains of bile salt.
Then we measured the pH at 0, 20, 40 and 60 min in a 37c water bath.

@Birdofparadise8 I have Neapolitan in the freezer at the moment, I like the same, choc, vanilla, mint. But I like strawberry topping more than I do choc topping.
I saw your photos, that's quite some study you're doing there. I enjoyed science and wish I'd continued it on past year 10. The system is all different now, I have no idea what classes kids do these days.

Thanks @ENKELI
That was for my physiology in medical and health science class.
I personally don't like strawberry ice cream or toppings. I'd prefer the fruit.
Chocolate all the way, hahaha. Have you tried the Murry River Bulla ice cream? It has real egg in it. It's so yummy.

Hehe! It’s not easy @Birdofparadise8 to try to figure out a persons attributes, that’s for sure 🙌🏻☺️🌺
I’m female, too 🌺
yes, I thought you were female 🙂🌺
Indeed; bradycardia is a very slow heart rate. This sometimes results in changes to the rhythm, and the particular events I have are called premature ventricular contractions (PVC’s) which can happen in a row, resulting in compounded limitations on blood circulation. Combine that with coronary artery spasm (heart muscle gets very little blood flow), the heart only begrudgingly does it’s job through sheer willpower coming from the autonomic nervous system (sympathetic branches), which increase blood pressure and stroke volume as a compensatory measure… I saw briefly your wonderful experimental pics, and I thought you might like a bit of biological science behind the pathology 💜🙂🌺
The intriguing highlights of brain injury: I couldn’t recall faces, or recognise my own reflection, and I didn’t know what a toothbrush was for or that toothpaste should be used to brush your teeth instead of cleaning the toilet hehe 😁
I used to have brain auto resets several times a day: I would go blank within a split second, and forget where I was, what I was supposed to be doing, and be unable to recognise my surroundings - imagine how many times I got lost driving the car, and ended up in someone’s driveway asking them if they can tell me if I live there or not 😆👏🏻
“Oh, right, so you don’t know me? Cool, no worries, I’ll just be on my way and see what happens next. Thanks for your time” 😁
Those adventures were something unique, that’s for sure ☺️🌺
I trained my brain to keep focus over the next 4 years (aka stop bluescreening), then I went to uni, and trained it some more 🙌🏻🙂
I learned to remember faces (taking particular note about uniqueness like a streak of grey hair, a freckle, or a set of dimples), and I learned to walk without falling down (or looking like I’d had 5 too many vodkas).
But the most odd thing was trying to discern the difference between who I was and what was a symptom.. I thought many hours about how I could tell the difference between my bluescreen events and my personality.. I had to search hard to remember what made me laugh, what made me cry, and what kind of person I am - and not considering myself as ‘someone I used to be’… 🙂💜🌺
Anyway, that’s that for now 🙂🌺
oh - yes; I do understand that you meant you cannot speak with your mum about it, I’m so sorry dearest 💜🌺🫂
I hope you feel heard and valued here 💜🙂🌺

Wow, that is a lot @Former-Member
I can't believe you went to uni after that.
What did you study?
Thank you. It's alright. I have SANE, KHL and my psych at this time.

@Birdofparadise8 yes, Murray River ice cream, the absolute best! I love Bulla products, whenever their ice cream is on sale I grab a tub or 3 he he he! They are also the only brand that makes crème fraiche which I use as the secret ingredient in my chicken and leek risotto. Ssshhhh don't tell anyone!!

What's your risotto recipe? Can you post it ASAP? I want to make that over the weekend now. @ENKELI
I love both.
Oh I know the ice cream is great, I swear nothing good has been on sale lately and that's not only ice cream but everything.

It was an adventure, above all, and I don’t think I would trade it for any of the worlds riches @Birdofparadise8 , because it has made a big contribution to who I am, and I feel I’m a better person for learning what I have learned along the way 💜🌺🙂
I studied a bachelor in occupational therapy 🙌🏻☺️
Do you mind if I ask what you’re studying? I’m about to go have a detailed read of your post with the tutorial pics… I’m so excited! 😀🙌🏻🌺
