Something’s not right

Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

I just gave @ENKELI the reason why @Blackbird11

If you wanted to read.

Nice. What's the most exciting thing you've bought so far? Can you show me any pics of some stuff? I like the white table and chair.

Re: Not Coping

@Jynx, I have wondered for a long time whether I have EDS. I probably do, but it’s been undiagnosed. I end up with lots of bruises too, but I am also very clumsy. The bruise I ended up with after my blood test looked awful.

Social events just make me anxious, but I know if I don’t put myself out there, I’ll just retreat and get used to being in a bubble

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 I think the fact that there's soooo many stim toys sold these days, of all different kinds, just goes to show that they're far more accepted now. Nothing to be embarrassed about! But if you want subtle, there's stuff like this:

You can even get fidget rings like this:

Re: Not Coping

That's really tough @Birdofparadise8 it's like they got your hopes up and let you down. Stay strong... something will turn up.

It's all been pretty exciting ☺️ it's most satisfying emptying and placing things out of the boxes.

Re: Not Coping

Yeah, I know, but I'd still feel like it.

Maybe the ring might be good. @Jynx

Re: Not Coping

Oh sweetie I am so sorry. I had the same thing happen to me, I was supposed to take over for a woman who was retiring and then she decided she didn't want to retire after all. It's truly heart-breaking when it's a job you know you'd excel at @Birdofparadise8.

Maybe it's a sign that a better job is coming.

I am trying to stay positive that I'll find something soon but it does start to wear me down.

Re: Not Coping

Thank you @ENKELI @Blackbird11

I hope so. It's been six months. I'm so exhausted with all the applications and interviews.

@creative_writer Stretching is reeeallly important for EDS - I know I should do it more.

Aww proud of you for pushing outside your comfort zone hun! I hope it ends up being a fun evening 😊

Re: Not Coping

Yes @Birdofparadise8 it's a lot of effort finding the right job. Keep going, there's a job out there for you.
