Oh yay that’s awesome @rav3n ! New car feels! And smells! 

Yes my brother got the all clear from his oncologist to come over. I’m not sure how long he is staying, maybe 2 weeks. 

I reckon I’ll be finished by around 1-2pm. I’ll probably do some craft or Lego? Maybe? I don’t know. 

yeah D gave me the green light to get rid of all her Barbie’s. She hasn’t touched them in ages. She got about 20 maybe. A lot of Disney dolls too. It’s just finding all their clothes and shoes. Some will have to stay naked though!

I did some crafting today, started getting a new book ready for a new book sculpture and I had the kittens out. They spend a lot more time out now cause they are so big. But I was crafting on my bed and they kept walking all over everything, trying to take my pencil and cutting tool, playing with all the scraps of paper. Putting their paws right where I was trying to cut. And then they all passed out on my bed. It was really cute. Sleeping nice and close by.

oh nice! how are you feeling about him staying over? are you both close?

Lego and crafts are definitely good backups, did you have any particular projects/lego sets that you've been meaning to work on? Oh do you like working with beads? 

haha sounds like D's played with them heaps and made the most of it! are you into sewing? maybe that could be something to occupy your time, making clothes for the naked dolls 🤔 was she ever into bratz, monster highs, etc? my sis used to love those too.

awww i can't get over how CUTEEEE this is!! i don't blame them for disrupting your workspace, it looks soooo cosy hehe.

oh how do you indeed to personalize your car?

My brother is good in small amounts @rav3n  he has a number of disabilities so can be a lot of work. But I got my space to escape to if needed. 

I’ll probably do more of my book sculpture. And nah never really got into beading. I have a couple of Lego kits in the cupboard that I could do. 

I use to sew lots. Use to make all my D’s clothes. But she is fussy now and hasn’t wore a dress in ages! I use to love making them, loved the vintage vibe. 

im super tired. Been yawning big all afternoon.

@Bow so i wanna get seat covers that are black/dark blue to match the outside of my car. and i kinda wanna play around with LED lights - it looks cool in videos i've seen but i'm worried i'll get annoyed of the light... and i've also seen cute lil airfreshner gadgets but still need to look into them. do you have any interior inspos too?

that's fair, and glad you've got your space sorted too. hoping those 2 weeks go well for you all! oo yess and if you do work on your book sculpture or Lego kits, send me some pics! ahh yep, i asked abt the beading cos i saw this craft idea and someone in the comments mentioned using clay for the pot, which reminded me of the polymer clay stuff you make!

oooo love vintage vibes too!!! D's missing out, but maybe in a couple years she'll change her mind and come back asking for you to whip something up for her!

Ah gosh I remember when I got my first car @rav3n  i decked it out with bright pink everything. I even got some pink fluffy fabric and put it up the back. I got a new car nearly a year ago and haven’t done a thing! My box of random stuff that I quickly grabbed out of my old car is still sitting in the spare room. But. She desperately needs a wash and vacuum which I have been saying for months and then I have one sticker to put on her. 
have you given your car a name? 
mine is called Missy, cause she is a Mitsubishi. 

Oh I absolutely adore that little beaded pot! 

I got to the shops this morning. Got my nails done, ticked everything off my list and then home to clean and tidy a bit and now I am doing some craft. 

this is the type of vintage that I adored and use to go hunting at op shops and markets for gorgeous embroidered fabric.
