Something’s not right

My Mosaic

Re: My Mosaic

Oh wow, that's a lot to hear in just one appointment @Bow I get what you mean by maybe being too thorough. That's quite a lot of things to follow up on, which must be overwhelming. It does definitely sound like your GP cares and wants to get to the bottom of this though!

Is the no driving a recommendation? I can understand how distressing that would be and it would be extra frustrating when the rest of your care team feels it's okay that you're driving.

Re: My Mosaic

@Ru-bee  She mentioned it over and over again and said that if I did drive and something happened then it would all be on me? Or something along those lines?

i 100% believe this is all MH related and she said it was most likely MH, but needs to check these things. She said all the times that I have been in icu intubated can all do brain damage too.

the long list of things to follow up on stresses me out in its self. Making all those phone calls. The potential cost relates to appointments. She referred me to public neurologist and she wants to see if my pdoc or CM can call up and get me in asap. But I highly doubt that will make a difference. And then she is like can you afford a private one? Umm no. My gynecologist I’m suppose to be making a private appointment and that was late last year… have put it dd cause of the cost

blahhhhhh 😩😩😩😩

Re: My Mosaic

Yep I absolutely hear you on the costs @Bow  I've got a dermatology appointment I keep pushing back and I was meant to go back to the dentist like 6 months ago but there's always so many other things that I need to pay for instead

Maybe you could try to stagger the phone calls and do one every few days?

It's time for me to head off for the evening but I'll catch up with you later. I hope you're able to have a bit of a relaxing night after today

Re: My Mosaic

Just get tired of something else being added to the list. Something else. My MH just keeps impacting my life more and more and I’m over it

Re: My Mosaic

hey @Bow just catching up on your recent posts and saw that the GP appointment didn't go as expected. i'm so sorry to hear about the driving, i can understand how important it is for you and your independence. sending you gentle hugs 💙

i hear how frustrating and upsetting this is, especially with everything piling up - but i fully believe you can do this. wish you didn't have to deal with this in the first place. but you've proven time and time again how strong you are, and i know you're capable of conquering this.

also how's it been with your mum and brother back?

Re: My Mosaic

Thanks @rav3n

really hoping my SW has some time tomorrow to do a home visit. Really need to unload properly from today and also from last week.

It’s good to have mum back. I missed her. And yes, good to have my bro here too.

Re: My Mosaic

Got a much needed day at home tomorrow @rav3n  sometimes it’s nice to not have to go out at all. I try to have one once a week but it doesn’t always happen.

Can hopefully give my SW heaps of flexibility in on a time for a home visit.

Crafting on the weekend was not ok I think. Got all my shopping done including my nails. Did my cleaning up. And then I did some more book sculpting.

Re: My Mosaic

@Bow oh yepp, going out everyday - even if it's just for one appointment or for shopping, it tends to just feel exhausting overall, hey. glad you've got tomorrow to chill at home.

crafting was not okay??

ooo nice, what colour did you paint your nails?

and forgot to mention - love the name 'Missy' for your car!! i've named mine 'Nightcrawler'.

Re: My Mosaic

@rav3n  My brother wanted me to take him out today but I said nope. Not today, it’s my day at home. So I will take him some other day.

I’m not sure how that ‘not’ got into crafting was ok. Sorry. Craft was ok on the weekend.

I have a pastel rainbow on my nails. Yellow, green, blue, purple and pink. I really like them.

nightcrawler cause it’s blue?
