My Mosaic

Re: My Mosaic

Hey hon @Bow

Well done on getting the vacuuming done. It is a massive job but feels good afterwards.

I'm ok, just tired. After yesterday it is nice to just be home. Been doing some sheets and towels here, nice sunny day to get them dry.

Have you got many plans for this afternoon?

Re: My Mosaic

House chores type of day for the both of us eh @Snowie

D and I started watching a movie… the new ghost busters one. But she lost interest and is back in her room. I’m just doing an order and some more to my cupboard

Re: My Mosaic

So looking forward to seeing what your cupboard looks like when you have finished it @Bow Knowing you and your talents, it will look amazing.

Home alone here, so trying to keep busy. Just have to wait for everything to dry now.

Just sat outside and had a cuppa before. The dog loved laying in the sun.

How much longer do you have the kittens for?

Re: My Mosaic

Cupboard is nearly finished @Snowie  ive enjoyed working on it. It’s pretty much taken me 2 weeks of all my spare time. I think I will need to work out a way to attach it to where I’m going to leave it. I thought putting the shelves back in would weigh it down a bit and make it a bit more sturdy, but it hasn’t. And I’d hate for it to fall over. I’ll have a look through all my spare parts boxes! I’m sure there is that little bag that comes with we furniture to attach it to the wall that I haven’t bothered with.

it’s been wet here today. Constant drizzle which doesn’t happen often.

I think we will have the kittens for about 3more weeks. One had an infection of some time. I’ve had to treat them all and take the infected one in every 2 weeks to have a test done. The one from last Friday was negative. So she has to have 2 more negatives, 2 weeks apart. Then they are all free to go in for desexing and then adoption.

do you have a busy week coming up?

Re: My Mosaic

It's good that you've had something to work on @Bow especially with your mum away.

Hopefully you can attach it, you wouldn't want it falling over with all your things inside.

What sort of things are you planning to put in it?

Hopefully the infection is all cleared up soon so they can go up for adoption. Sorry to see them go, but hopefully they go to good homes.

I've got my psych tomorrow (in person) which will be good. I struggle to find that connection when they are telehealth appointments. After the last week, I've got a lot to talk to her about.

Have Parent Teacher Interviews Tuesday afternoon. It is a bit sad that these are the last one's I will ever do with the kids. So many 'lasts' this year.

We have a wedding Saturday (just hubby and I) which is interstate so are staying there for 2 nights. Will be nice to get away. Looking forward to the wedding but at the same time dreading the social side of it.

Have you got much on? When is your mum home?

Re: My Mosaic

I’ll show the goodies I put in it soon @Snowie  😉

I’m glad you’ve got your psych this week. Will be good to debrief.
lots of lasts eh. Sad. But you’ve raised good kids hon.

nothing out of the ordinary this week. I’m sure my SW will do a home visit mon or tues. Arts and craft Wednesday which I am facilitating. Thursday psych. I haven’t managed to get to my last2 appointments so hopefully I can get there Thursday but then I am dreading it. Friday kitten to the vet and then Sunday morning mum and bro get back.

Re: My Mosaic

Yes lots of lasts @Bow but I guess at the same time lots of 'first's' too. They are still my babies! I won't miss the school traffic in the morning 😁

Least you have some prior warning that you are running the arts and crafts group and everyone is on the same page. The other's in the group would rather you do it too, much better than just colouring in.

In regards to your psych appointment, can you get your SW to help you get in the door. Maybe meet you there before hand instead of just waiting by yourself.

Only one week to go hon. You are well past halfway.
