My Mosaic

Re: My Mosaic

Dear Emelia8 thank you for supporting one of my posts. From my reading i think you are having radiation therapy now (if i am making right connection). Wishing you all the very best with lots of love from Melly xxoo

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Mellysmellyelly 🌸

Yes thats right, I have my first of 15 radiation therapy sessions today. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last September and had surgery in November.  Pretty nervous about it all, so I really appreciate your post. Thank you. 💕

I see that you're quite new .. .so I welcome you to the Sane forums. There are some very special members here, which Im sure you have discovered too. Its great to see you finding your way around and supporting others as you are.

Please feel free to 'tag' me onto any posts you make around your own story. You can do that by typing an @ symbol, which will bring up a drop down box with recent posters. Select the member/s you wish to tag, and they will then  receive a notification that someone is 'talking' to them. If the member you wish to tag, doesnt come up automatically, start typing in the member name and it should come up then.

Again, I thank you for your support. I must get moving, I live in a rural area and have to travel to nearest cancer institute for radiation, which is about an hour and a quarter drive.

Have a good day. 🌷

Good morning @Bow 🍌 dropping in your morning banana. 😄💝

Re: My Mosaic

Morning @Emelia8  was just thinking of you and poped in to wish you luck for today, but you are already up getting organised. Will be thinking of you this morning as your drive and go in for your first treatment, can’t imagine how anxious you would be feeling right now. Wish we could all come alone for the drive and hold your hand today- with you in spirit. Please take it easy. What time do you go in? And are you back there tomorrow too?

thanks for the banana... appreciate the reminder to try and eat one. 💕🌸🤗

we are going to the beach today. Don’t usually go during the holidays cause it’s so busy, we wait till everyone is back at school and work, but can’t do that anymore cause she will be at school soon. Daughter is already up and wanting to pack everything. I’m feeling really tired, had some unpleasant dreams last night and then daughter was in my room at 3am so didn’t sleep well. Have to go get my bloods done before we leave for the beach also.

Hope everyone got some sleep last night and has a good day @Mellysmellyelly @Anastasia @Eve7 @Snowie and anyone else around 💕💕💕💕

Re: My Mosaic

I hope your day at the beach goes well for you all.

I just bought some bananas 🍌 so I am going to pray for you every time I eat one.

Lots of love

Dear Emelia, I hope you got on alright today. Thank you very much for your message too and explanations. I'm a bit slow with technology I"m afraid. That"'s a long drive for you each time. Keep positive!!!  💕 My sister in law had Inflammatory breast cancer, strong chemo, surgery then radiation more than 6 years ago and is well now..She has retired and with her supportive husband was able to do Christmas dinner for all her family (15 of us). She had no family ca history. I know every case is different. If you ever felt not up to the drive i hope that someone could take you ??? Take good care of yourself !!! I"ve tried to read up on some of your and others' backgrounds to get to know you all a little better. Wow you encourage many !!!

I too lost my dear Mum to ovarian ca way back in early 1980s when she wss only middle aged. So far my sister and I have managed to avoid it and are v thankful to be over that hump age. We are v thankful to both have had such a good relationship with her. But at anniversary i still get a bit sad. I never knew until s few yesrs after that one of the tablets she regularly took was an anti depressant. She always seemed so calm. And the 20 years i knew her I only ever saw her cry twice and that was concerning other people. So I always thought I had to be emotionally restrained like her even though that wad not my nature. It wasn't until I had breakdown in mid 20s that my psychiatrist taught me that it was OK to be seen crying.

Hello to others too. @Bow @Former-Member @Eve7 I'm findin it a little hard to remember what i read and remember what belongs to who. Hope tags work

Love, Melly xxxooo

PS forgot to tag @Anastasia  sorry
