Something’s not right

My Mosaic

Re: My Mosaic

Definitely. @Bow  And it may be worth while playing it repeatedly if that helps to slow things down a bit.

I'm proud of you @Bow . Despite adversity, you are where you are.

Looks like I have to wrap up now too. I'll check in with you tomorrow.

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Snowie 👋

my days been….. hard again… still? Sorry !#£€ I hate ptsd why must our bodies insist on making us remember things that we don’t want to???

but I did have to get up this morning, dog had a vet appointment, just annual check up and stuff. Then I had to get on the phone to our internet provider. Our internet went down on Tuesday, spoke with them Wednesday and they escalated it to level 2 support and they were suppose to call yesterday, but didn’t. So I called again to chase it up cause I had gone and got a new modem and tried all sorts but nothing fixed it. They needed to send an nbn tech out and THANK GOODNESS they had something available today! I was stressing a little that it would take ages to send someone out and we would be leaving our house sitters with no internet! But it’s all fixed now. And I can take the new modem back cause it was the wrong type anyways! Haha

and then I had a Temu order that I was also worried it wouldn’t arrive before we left and it had things in it I needed. And thank goodness that arrived today!

so I feel a little less stressed now that both of them are sorted. Now I need to get to packing.

how’s your day been hon?

Re: My Mosaic

Glad you got some things sorted out this morning @Bow At least something you don't have to worry about.

I love Temu!! Am waiting on a few orders from them for xmas.

I really don't know why our bodies insist on us remembering. I know how you feel hon.

Have you got much planned for this afternoon or just packing?

Had ECT this morning so up early today. Just back at home curled up in bed. Need to do some things but they can wait till tomorrow.

On a good note, all the flights, motels, ski passes got the go ahead for Japan. Now just have to pay for it all!

Re: My Mosaic

I love Temu too @Snowie  i spend way too much time scrolling and adding stuff unnecessary things to my cart and then way too much money! But oh well!

I got these from Temu today. One has a ‘fake’ Disney ticket and money and the other is for Lego land.

I’ve been doing some packing. Trying jeans on with thermals underneath to see what is the most comfy to wear. Pleased to find 3x jeans that are comfy and that fit. So don’t need to go buy any tomorrow. Choosing some jumpers and long sleeve tops now. My best friend returned from the UK last week and she said that it’s been very cold. And said as long as you have a good puffer jacket you are mostly ok. You just get cold from the bottom of your jacket down!
I got some thermal boots from aldi during their ski sale and I had been contemplating whether or not to actually take them, but I think I will.

We are going out for dinner tonight with my brother, SIL and niece. Last catch up before we leave.

just a chill day for you post ECT then?

oh that’s exciting about your trip! When do you go?

Re: My Mosaic

Oh they look so cute @Bow

I'm guessing they are for D. She will love them.

Lots of thermals might be needed. Their winters are a lot colder than ours!

Aldi's boots should be good for over there. Last thing you want is walking around everywhere with wet feet. Have you packed D's things yet?

We are going to Japan mid Feb. Going with a few other couples that we normally go to the snow with. Kids are staying at home!

Actually in bed now after ECT. Lots of tears this afternoon. Not sure why as it hasn't been a bad day. Guess I'll just go with the flow.

Re: My Mosaic

Oh yes they are for D @Snowie  🙂

Yeah I’ve been told it’s a lot colder…. And when there is wind, it’s even worse! Hopefully we are prepared!

Yes I’ve started packing D’s things as well. Fingers crossed we have what we need, if not, I’ve found out the name of their Kmart alternative.

oh that’s exciting about sounds nice, snow trip without the kids!

im sorry you have been so teary this afternoon hon. Please be gentle with yourself

Re: My Mosaic

Well I guess if you need anything you can pick it up over there @Bow

It's good if they have a kmart alternative. Not as expensive then.

I think Beanie and Jacket are defiantly needed!

I'll be ok. I think it just one of those days where you write it off. Convo with mum before hasn't helped either.

sitting at the kitchen table with the AC on. It’s really warm here today

Re: My Mosaic

Been nice here today too @Bow

Not A/C weather. Next Monday's meant to be 39.

Just got up and had some tea too. Think it might be an early night
