@Bow so... semi-successful I guess? Haha dang the weather!! 

Yeah I bet you were, I always struggle sleeping before special occasions!! Maybe bed is exactly what is needed!! You got a big week ahead or you got time to chill and recover from the weekend? 

I'm not too shabby, bit miffed it rained on my clothes that I only just hung out but.... I live in Melbourne I ought to be used to it by now 😂 

I'm excited that my raspberry bush is fruiting!! I totally forgot it was there and then it grew BIG - first haul of the season:

Yeah semi- successful @Jynx hopefully the rain goes in time for next Saturdays market. Mum mentioned wanting to do a Sunday market the weekend before we leave! Umm no thanks!!

My body actually allowed me to have a sleep in this morning. It was nice waking up to see it was 9:30 instead of 6am! But yes, I think I will be in bed soon. Oh but. Dot arrives tonight. Sigh.

your own raspberry bush! Wow! That would be so nice! Do they taste ok? I do like raspberries… and blueberries and strawberries…. And blackberries! Love them all.

Yeah they are actually soooo nice!! Sweeter and more flavourful than store bought for sure! You and me both haha I think cos of my fussy eating from when I was a kid, I have always struggled to eat fruit. It's the lack of consistency, and if it is even a TINY BIT squishy cos of being overripe, it makes me gag. So berries have always been a safe food for me! Well... most of the time... if I get an overripe one, it can turn me off a whole punnet, it sucks. But now I just make em into a pie or a crumble if they're like that! Mmmm maybe I should make raspberry crumble!!

Dot is our elf on the shelf @Jynx  1st December is when she arrives. A Christmas joy that I mostly regret starting! 😂😩

oh yep…. A yucky berry can certainly ruin a whole punnet of berries. Do you like mangoes? I got a couple today. I like a lot of the summer fruits. Apricots, peaches, cherries, lychee.

@Bow bahaha oh dear, too much logistical nonsense to wade through, or what? Most of my exposure to elf on the shelf has been memes 😅

I wish I liked mangoes, but for whatever reason my brain decided they're a 'nope' food! But cherries and lychees I adore!! Apricots go alright, I love a good nectarine too. Oh and pomegranite!! For those times I want to get hyperfocused on my food haha takes soooo long to eat one!

Oh and peaches!! Peaches come from a can! They were put there by a man! In a factory downtowwwwwwn!!

i cheated this year and downloaded 7 free elf printables. So just gotta come up with 10 more before we leave. 
Advent calendar is now hung. We have a fabric one that we love, but last year I got a Kmart craft advent calendar in the post Christmas sales. So I opened them all, wrapped them and hung them on the tree and put a little note in our advent calendar to go open a certain number 🙂 plus a chocolate coin. 
New PA Christmas pjs too. 

sigh, first of December is so much work! 

oh pomegranate go so good in salad too! And yes peaches in a can- I love.

Oooooh @Jynx !! That song! I really had no idea what you were referring to at first! Thought it might have been a tv ad. But that song! Bought back sweet memories of the 90’s! 

yes well… I’m sure I’d freak out if I woke to that hung above my bed too. She’s mostly in the living room. 

I do like all our little Christmas traditions…. And D loves them! But they are a lot of work sometimes when I just can’t be bothered! But it’s what we do to make the season magical.

In the olden days I used to work like no body's business, cleaning houses, caring for the community...... 

I think about that time --: it's a nice memory how busy I was - I have two adult sons.

Yes, I have a market stall. I create and sell art. I share a market stall with my mum who sews baby and children’s clothes. We attend a gorgeous monthly country market. It’s very popular and people come from afar to shop home made and home grown goodies. And then we go to another handmade homegrown market that is on every Sunday, but we just go a couple of Sundays a month. Markets are exhausted! They are always an early start, putting up marquees and setting up all our displays and products and then packing it back down again!

I rested yesterday after a special one off twilight Christmas market that left me feeling absolutely wrecked yesterday. And I’m not going to do too much today either!
