Thanks @NatureLover
I’ll share bits about our trip over the coming days. Was super tired yesterday after an overnight flight from LA. Got a full nights sleep last night, so hopefully will avoid any jet lag.
hope you have been well?

I'm doing OK, got Covid last week but thankfully it was fairly mild. 👍

London
We loved London. It’s such a beautiful old place. The buildings so big and old. Pictures just don’t do it any justice. We crammed so much into our time there, London tower, tower bridge, Kensington palace, Buckingham palace…. And yes, we got to go inside both palaces, amazing. They were very strict on you not being allowed to take photos inside Buckingham palace though. We watched the change of guard, We explored Hyde park, it was massive, my daughter had a play in the princess Diana memorial fountain, which she loved. We went on the London eye, that was massive and you could see so far! We seen Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, the natural history museum (there was so much to see but a little disappointed with that as it was so crowded, so hot, and we just didn’t stay very long because of it.) We went to Hamleys toy store, it was massive and also to Harrods- all mum wanted was a Harrods bag… which I managed to find for her, along with some other goodies from there. We went to this gorgeous pink floral cafe that looks stunning, I’ve been following them on Instagram for years and when I found out we were going to london, I just had to go there. The cupcake I had looked yummy and tasted delicious too. We managed to master the underground train network quickly which made getting around really quick and easy. Our friends wedding that we went over there did was stunning as well. It was so nice to finally see her get her wedding day after years of putting it off due to covid. She was a stunning bride and we had a great day celebrating them.
Well that was London! We were sad to leave.

Incredible @Bow ! Thank you for sharing! We've certainly missed you on the forums here! Were you away for 3 weeks?
You mentioned it was 'so hot' - what do the temperatures get up to at this time? The weather looks stunning!
So glad you had a great time. Did you end up going to Disneyworld for your daughter?

Yes we were away for 3 and a bit weeks @tyme. It went so quickly!
the temps were a nice summers day here…. Low 30’s. But most buildings in London are not built for heat. And they don’t have AC. The natural history museum was a massive big…,, and old building..,, will try and find a photo. But with thousands of people inside and zero AC…. Really unpleasant!
yes we went to Disneyland. Will share about that and our trip to Paris later.
im managing to keep myself awake during the day, but I’m still really tired. We were constantly on the go, and some jet lag too. Plus I’ve felt a little flat today. Post holiday blues.
