I am going through medication withdrawals at the moment.
I feel so shittt.
It's only day 2, and i feel like i can't do it. I have months ahead of slowly tapering the medication.
Ahhhh. Everything hurts. I'm shaking. Im nauseus. I'm dizzy. My tinnitus is terrible. I swear I'm seeing things...
I don't know how to deal...

@The-red-centaur medication withdrawals are the worst.
There's no easy way to do it but I recommend trying to rest as much as you can and make sure you keep up with your fluids..
Hope you are feeling better soon but I know how hard it is.

@Gremlin24 i did the dumb thing of looking up medical journals on the withdrawl of this certain medication. Some of the studies were quite serious, both physically and mentally.
Now I'm dreading the next few days to months that I'll be going through this. It will be worse tomorrow apparently. Urgh. It hurts.

@The-red-centaur oh hun that's so rough, sounds like it's already putting you through the ringer!! Just thought I'd stop in and offer some hugs and some company if you want! You got plenty of colouring and/or other crafty bits to keep you occupied?

@The-red-centaur i went through it for at least 4 months after I took too much medication and then stopped cold turkey so I know exactly how you are feeling. It's horrible and it's so debilitating. Sending you lots of strength ❤️

@Gremlin24 it's not even cold Turkey on this med, there are strict guidelines for its tapering, but it still has pretty shit withdrawals.
I'm sorry you experienced that, I've done similar things before. It sucks so much.
I tried to reduce this medication before. But I couldn't handle it.
@Jynx i can't focus on anything. I'm really foggy and everything hurts my eyes. Even my phone with games and sane, I wouldn't be able to colour with my tremors anyway...

@The-red-centaur you'd think coming off if it gradually wouldn't be so bad but it still has massive impacts on your whole body.
I really hope you can get some rest and that this feeling passes quickly for you.

Ugh so frustrating @The-red-centaur - can't even engage in the distractions fully!! TV screen the same too, so no comfort shows?
Aye my dad has really bad tremors from his Parkinson's, it's soooo debilitating. A good time to try messy sketching or finger painting mayhaps? 😝
