Heya @ArraDreaming ,
Sorry I didn't check-in earlier!
Now, I get what's happening. So at least you have the stability of home. Do you enjoy your job? It seems like you have a natural knack for it.
Do you work everyday?

@tyme Yeah I only stayed once or twice at my brothers to make it a bit easier for travel but I really didn’t want to, been home since Father’s Day the day before the funeral. i have deliberately kept an arms length away for a long time so I prefer to keep doing that.
Being home is much better
I really love my job I was self employed for a little bit and the pandemic and a bad injury really ruined that for me. I much prefer what I’m doing and it’s less stressful for me too. I work 2 days always and then sometimes a 3rd day. I’m home with the kids the other days, my partner works full time. I would really like to up my days starting next year

Sounds like you are in a good space @ArraDreaming . I guess it's important to be there for your children when they are young and then work more once they go to school.
What does your weekend look like this week?

@tyme yeah we manage my partner has studied a lot and is doing well in her career so it makes sense for me to be at home, and we’ll have one at school next year too. Ever since I got hurt I dont know if I could do hard labour full time again like my previous job.
this weekend we are just hanging at home which will be nice after a big few weeks @tyme will just do some trips to the park and stuff like that. I want to get back on my skateboard at some point so might go to the skatepark one of the days
what about you

Wow @ArraDreaming - skateboarding! Good on you!
I'm sorry to hear about how your injury has affected you. I vaguely remember it happening during COVID if I'm right? Is there any chance you can fully recover from the injury?
As for me this weekend, I'll be hanging out with my forums mates both Saturday and Sunday. Hope to catch up with you then (once your boys go to sleep lol).
Currently, I'm just having a cuppa.
Had dinner yet?
