@outlander You can sure squeeze my hand - as hard as you like - virtual hand-squeezing doesn't hurt one little bit
@Adge - You have been through it all too - one reason I totally understand Outlander is that when I was about her age I had a mysterious stomach problem too - and eventually they took out my appendix - and it was really bad - so yeah Outlander - get them to check you for appendicitis
Really - I feel like fuming - luckily my damaged spine shows up on the MRI so clearly - no one questions the pain I am in now - but I went through a rough time at the beginning - because people can't see the invisible they try and make us think we have the cheese sliding off our cracker - so bad
But we are here - if one thing could come out of my back pain for a positive thing it is to assure people that just because people can be addicted to pain killers it doesn't mean everyone is - and pain needs to be examined and treated - it is as much of an emergency as anything else
Keep on keeping on Outlander - I hear you
And Adge - that was really something - wow - really bad

It sounds really bad - do you think it's going to be okay through the night? - or do you think it's worse than that?
Is it something you can handle?
Just because people were looking for cysts in your ovaries or whatever doesn't mean that your appendix isn't playing up
You can ring the National Home Doctor to get him to come and look at it - the number is 13 SICK - or try Nurse on Call - but really - if it's this bad if feels like bursting you can call an ambulance and get them to examine you
Only you know how bad this is - I can only look back on my own experience of living with a grumbling appendix for years and I remember how bad that pain was
I also know that you are afraid - and I would be too in your place - but I can tell that this is real from the way you are writing about it - it sounds so full-on - and starting to move around your tummy the way it is - yeah - appendix pain starts around the navel and then moves into the right groin - but it seems as if the stress you are naturally feeling is tightening up your muscles
Also I am thinking that you wrote somewhere that you had something to eat and your vomited.
This is your choice - I am supportive either way and not in any kind of hurry atm - so hang onto my hand - dem bones is arthritic but a virtual squeeze hurts not one bit

No @outlander - you can't wait until next week in this much pain -
It's better to get help before that rather than wait for a medical emergency -

Thanks @Owlunar. Thanks @outlander - yes I really do understand & empathise with what you're saying.
I feel like I've been in the wars (as the old saying goes) - with a huge scar (25 centimetres long) & a pudgy tummy from the surgeries (to show it)..
