@tonys wanted to quickly add that you are doing great job with the technology side of things. It can be difficult for everyone & intimidating!

I am usually writing letters from my phone.

Occasionally, I will use the computer. Because I am not used to it, I will have to re learn the websites & computer functions etc. I guess I am lucky that I am a quick learner. Although, I do tend to overlook very obvious details sometimes.

A disadvantage of being a quick learner is that my mind wants to go at a very fast pace all the time. Similar to your editing error with the fork, spoon etc - I will stare at mistake & try to solve it 10 times, before I see what is now obvious to me! 

Perhaps in a way, I can relate to the effort & confidence it takes to be brave & overcome some of life's silly setbacks.

You really are doing phenomenal in my opinion!

Oh, yes, I also agree that copy and paste might be a valuable tool for you to learn.

Brief explanation:

Double click left mouse button and highlight text.

Now you might have two options.

You can follow instructions on video 

Eg 

Control + C        to copy 

Control +V         to paste     

Or ...

Once you have the text highlighted.

You can try pressing Right mouse button.

A little menu will come up with various options.  

Click on word copy.

Now your text is copied.

Then....

Go into another program or page - the place that you want to put the copy.

(You might have to click left mouse button first on this new program - to get the little cursor thing flashing)

Then you can either do what the video says & press 

Control + V        to paste.

Or......

If you Right click your mouse button. The same little menu will come up again & you can click on the word 'paste.'

Take your time & have a go. I'm hoping my explanation could be useful. I think you will work it out & feel free to ask questions.

I'm not the best at computers! Maybe some other members can explain better also if you have trouble.

@maddison @tyme @BPDSurvivor @NatureLover . thanks for tips and kind words,  ill find some to help.. a couple of ladies at the library have offered a few times to help,  ive just got to overcome the shyness thing.  ill wake up one day , take some eggs and veg to swap, and hope they dont end up regretting the offer.  did you get the kite about the "no-no" words ? . do you have a list you could email me,  its a real trap for new comers. for naive  people like me we would never expect an item of cutlery to torpedo the mail room.. any way , better go, my feet are ki  ing me,.. opps ... nearly did it again.  my feet are hurting. hope you see the funny side .in good faith .tonys moon base one, over and out

@maddison  oh i totally for got to ask. the dog and cat you talk to,  are they yours, and what kind are they,one day when you have time, please elaborate.  mine are all fat. and my cat is best mates with my obscenely obese rabbit  . the vet says im a" feeder"  personality type.   exit stage left.  tonys
