Hi @WombatBoots

I'm really tired and disappointed in the outcome of the trial. Hes appealing and more than 50% of all appeals are successful so but even if the conviction stands he will only get a good behaviour bond or at most a short suspended sentence. Then on top of that he's still got 100% rights as a father to access his children. He will still be able to work as a teacher with a short term of monitoring supervision before he goes back into school as a principal and I'm not even allowed to talk about what he's done because I could harm the departments reputation and his.

i am good, struggled for the last couple of weeks with MI but i feeling pretty good tonight, how about you, i remember reading last friday you had a tough week, i hope things have picked up a little

@Former-Member: so sorry you are disappointed with the outcome of the legal proceedings so far but you have at least got through one really difficult part of it. Understand the overall frustration though.

@Jacques: glad you are feeling pretty good tonight.

This week has been up and down for me as usual. Got out on the beach again today for a big walk (been doing pretty well with my walking lately). Tonight I'm pretty upbeat.

I am so sorry @Former-Member, that sucks, it is true what they say, justice is blind, and not in a good way.

you still did the right thing by standing up to him, you should feel at least some pride in the fact you stood up for yourself even though it was difficult.  it is on public record what he did to you, that can not be taken away by an appeal.
