Re: Share a cuppa?

Can I make you a cuppa to go with your assignment @creative_writer ?

Re: Share a cuppa?

@Former-Member aww, your support has been amazing. I haven't really done much. I guess I was too sick with migraines and nausea to really do much and have been taking it easy, though doing a bit better now x

Re: Share a cuppa?

@tyme ginger would be good, it always soothes the stomach.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Oh no @creative_writer!! I had a migraine last week. I have only ever had one and it was about 15 years ago. It is awful and I feel so awful for people who have them regularly.

What are you studying'?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Sure! @creative_writer - it's a bit cold here tonight. Hope this tea will help. I added a hint of honey to make sure you have your dose of vitamin c and don't get sick 🙂

Re: Share a cuppa?

@Former-Member migraines are the worst and people just think they're just a bad headache but it comes with a range of symptoms including moodiness. I feel like my mood disorder and migraines are linked too and hence why my mood stabilisers work for both. I am studying social work and looking into specialising in mental health.

Re: Share a cuppa?

@tyme it is cold here. Spring has been late. Ginger, honey and lemon tea is classic. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like I'm more of a tea than a coffee person just because lots of coffee feels awful on my stomach and makes me jittery. Though I do make a really weak coffee in the morning as a wake-up.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Yeah, I was really thrown by the effects. Ouch on EVERY level. Medication can sometimes have negative side effects and sometimes nice little surprises too... this may be one of the bonuses for you. Not the migraine though, they stink 🤕

That's right, now I remember. That is a difficult degree. Well done to you 🌟!!

Re: Share a cuppa?

I probably feel the same as you @creative_writer .

However, since coffee here in Melb is seen as a 'social thing', I've grown accustomed to drinking coffee.

My liver actually doesn't like the caffeine though. I cannot drink coffee everyday.

Teas are nice and pleasant...

Re: Share a cuppa?

Sure are @tyme been asleep since 6:30, it’s been a big couple of days here
