Far and Away

@Faith-and-Hope I have been up all night so far. I saw some disturbing news items last night which affected me a lot. I have been distracting myself sanding down the grout in the bathroom. I finished that so cleaned the bathroom also ...yes I know - only I would do something so big to distract myself lol But the positive is that it is now all done and I only have the ceiling and trims to paint - which I will probably do next holidays now as they are only 4 weeks away. 

I did some shopping yesterday for the kids at school and some things for the bathroom - took me most of the day but I promised the kids they could 'go shopping' this week so I had to do it. If you remember, they have little jars that they earn pebbles to put in and then can go shopping by spending their pebbles. I will set it all up Tuesday after work so they can shop Wednesday morning ...actually looking forward to seeing their little faces and watching them work out how much they want to spend and what they want to save for later.

I have woken up twice tonight, but it is because I crashed out early, and then woke after 5 hours, which has been all I have had lately …. hoping to doze off again 🤞

Still awake here @Faith-and-Hope but have done some more washing, had breakfast, washed up and rescued Clover from her attempt to 'help' me put the clothes on the clothes dryer. Poor little mite turned herself upside down and inside out trying to unstick her claw ...in the process falling on the chair and nearly pulling the bag with all the kids 'shopping' in it off the table. She has now taken herself off to the spare room and is snuggled on her bed. No doubt once she collects herself she will be back out for her breakfast. Tobes is snuggled next to me - and I think I will try to catch a little sleep myself before I feed them both. I hope you are back in the land of nod yourself already Hon. Sweet dreams 💕

Had a couple of hours sleep @Faith-and-Hope Initially tried on the couch but had a white fluffball behind me and a cameo coloured fluffball on top of me LOL ...so got up, fed the babies and went to bed. Doing the last load of washing now then going to vacuum, wash the floor and get stuck into the school work. I hope you have had some more sleep and are able to do some of your assignment work.

Sometimes her loss hits me really hard. Today was one of those days that I just felt completely lost without her.

Totally get that @Emelia8 I am so lucky to have Toby and Clover but there is not a day that goes by that I do no miss Cat 😥
