Just checking in.

Re: Just checking in.

Thanks @eth ❤ I can see from the notifications from 'support' that you read some of the stuff that's been happening. I've been mostly hanging out in this little corner of the forum lately as I've been busy dealing with it all, as well as trying to make it easier to pass by and avoid for people who might struggle with the decision I was making and then made. I've been following along with interest at your happenings though, enjoying hearing about all you have on. I hope you have a great time with your visitors tonight 😊

Re: Just checking in.

Thanks @CheerBear.  I just wanted to know I'm thinking of you and supporting you all the way at such a difficult time.  Heart

Re: Just checking in.

I really appreciate that @eth, thank you ❤ So, soooo thankful for this space and the great people in it.

Re: Just checking in.

Hey @outlander (I've seen you under the support button 😘). I am sitting with my next little project which is a gift for a rigged crafty Kris Kringle the kids started in which one of mine made sure I drew their name knowing I'd make them something like I am 😆. I wanted to share the pattern with you as I thought it could be a cool one for little sister. It's here and may be worth pinning or saving for some time you'd like a fun little project. Hoping you got hold of someone helpful yesterday ❤

@Teej I was looking at my notifications and missed the one that would have told me you were also up at ridiculous o'clock this morning. I would have said hi if I'd seen it at the time. Hoping your night was OK enough and today is one of the better/better-ish ones for you.

Re: Just checking in.

Morning @CheerBear (and everyone)

i just had a look at the link and it is adorable! thats one ill be adding to the list to do! i think its so cute that LF get excited when they see things your making (or that you can make for them 😉 )
i cant get myself to ring the number, i feel guilty for it because ive got a gp and my current nurse (who is amazingly supportive and ive been with her on and off for over 4 yrs now for various things) so its almost like im 'betraying' her even though thats probably not the case. I did send them an email this morning to see if they do accept those outside the area though so i guess thats a start.

Sending some extra hugs today Heart

Re: Just checking in.

Glad you like it. It's a fun little pattern @outlander 🙂

It sucks to feel like you're betraying someone but in this case you really wouldn't be. You'd be looking after you and trying to get what you need because your needs aren't being met elsewhere. I wonder if it could help to talk with your nurse about you wanting to find the right or different support with this? I'd hope she would be understanding of that and maybe even happy to see you taking charge of it all. Really great first step though! That one is often the hardest.

Thank you for the hugs and big ones back to you ❤

Re: Just checking in.

it is a really fun little pattern, do you think you could share the ones you make? @CheerBear i havent made anything that needs to be sewn on like the eyes and the buttons yet so thats a whole new learning curve! i want to keep learning though so i make more stuff! i hadnt realised that the possiblities are basically endless once you keep learning the skills. id love to make little creatures and dolls like youve made too, theres a hospital that i know that accepts the donated handmade teddies and dolls for sick kids so id like to do something like that

is it ok if i have a chat to you on the other thread? my embarrassment is taking over a little bit here...

Re: Just checking in.

It really is a craft where anything is possible @outlander 🙂 This pattern would be way doable with your skills and a great way to learn and practice things like attaching pieces and buttons.

No probs with another thread.

Re: Just checking in.

way doable huh @CheerBear even if its not ill give it ago anyway cause theres only one way to learn now isnt there.
how are you going with your graphghan?

and thank you
