Doing okay

I've recently started to experience what could be pms. I am having mood swings that happen a couple of days before my period. I don't know if it is going to get worse. I don't know if I need to talk to my gp. Do I just adapt and accept this happens now? Has anyone gone through this?

Re: Doing okay

Hello @Helen1

Welcome to the forums from myself 🙂

I can definitely say that I experience pms a few days before the cycle and this has happened since I was 13, usually it comes out of nowhere and I don't know why I feel the way I do until my cycle begins, but I find I get irritated quite easily and very sensitive to anything negative, I also eat more and feel bloated in my body.

I don't think you need to go to a gp as it is quite normal to go through this, but it might help you to understand the impact of hormones more to chat to them about your concerns?
