self harm thoughts

hi all

im 18 and i have discharged from a private psych ward a few days ago. I have no been coping well. I have been struggling with very strong intrusive thoughts of self harm. I am feeling so along and missing a relationship I had once. My trauma is coming up a lot and I’m just having a really hard time with all of it. Any advice?

Re: self harm thoughts

Hey again @Littlepiglet glad you're talking through these difficult feelings.

Here's a couple resources for coping with self-harm feelings - distraction techniques and SANE's Self-care for self-harm page.

Hope it helps 💜

@Littlepiglet

Variances in the magnetic pole and also frequencies, both natural and man-made constantly go against our head.

They are inherently against us, however we shape them as they are.

Over the ages it has been known as the subconscious.

The sub [as opposed to dom]

The con [as opposed to pro]

The 'suss' [as opposed to sense]

They have always been the doubts and shadow over everything.

When you start to notice it more it can be very disconcerting. But know that everyone on this planet deals with this.

You shape it, you always shape it. And it's always against.

You are going to have to learn to hate the subconsuss as you live.

But know that it is good that you part the shadow.

And know that everyone else is doing it too.

Even if they don't notice it as much.

And you will also see once you've parted the vague shadow, that here is with.

And all is well.

And it was just this subconsuss that was wrong all this time.

Be well and know that you do it more than others.

It's okay.
