I tried the zucchini spirals @Birdofparadise8 and it wasn’t the same but I could try the different brand of pasta.

I really need to keep regular meal times @Captain24 . As much as I want to do this and keep an alarm, but outside work commitments often don't allow me to do this.
Also, I visit different people each week, and everytime, people offer me tea/coffee and often homemade snacks (cake, slices). I feel so guilty not eating it. Then when you tell them you like it, they give you more. And you can't say you don't like it either.
An in terms of food, people often cook for me. I don't cook. They know I live alone, probably feel sorry for me, and give me a few meals each week. They are healthy home cooked meals, but I can't be sure there is a clear balance of veges, carbs and protein.
I can't say I'm a fan of carrot sticks. I don't mind cucumber though! YOu know when you live alone, you buy one carrot and you have to eat it all week? Or you buy half a celery and it's lasts a fortnight? This is what puts me off those things. Otherwise, carrot sticks, cucumber, celery, capsicum with dip is good.

Another thing is, @Birdofparadise8 @Captain24 - eating and food is such a social event. As I got better from my mental health, I go out a lot more with people which means I'm eating a lot more. This also adds to the problem.
When I was 'down' and severely depressed, I didn't eat for days. All I did was stay under the covers. Now I definitely DON'T want to return to this just because of weight issues.

Hey @Captain24 @tyme
If you are into meal pre veg and or beef lasagna, soup I just love potato and cauliflower and spaghetti bolognese are good option also curry. With the spaghetti you can put a lot of veg into it and you won’t even know if you grate it. They can all good in the freezer and you can just heat it up in the over, fridge or microwave.
Also quinoa is so versatile, cheap and pretty easy to prepare I have a great salad recipe I can share it is so good it may sounds weird but it is worth a try.
Making me talk about all this health food is making me excited I just love talking about nutrition I could do it all day. I know this is a hard topic for you to talk about but I am all open to listening about food and nutrition as I just love it.

Yes totally get that I know when I am around people I am either conscious of what they are eating and what I should eat. Sometimes if just because we are having a family get together there is a lot more unhealthy food.
Mood and food as so connected.
I know when I am sad and stuff I just want comfort food don’t you @tyme

I bought a frozen vege rissotto. It's cauliflower 'rice' with mushroom and veges as a risotto. I'll try it sometime next week and let you know how it goes.
I have to log off now, but look forward to talking about this tomorrow evening @Captain24 @Birdofparadise8
Good night!
