Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

I've just got the TV on while looking at some research articles for my presentation next week. It's on emotional intelligence.

She has left now for her class. She will be going home tonight, so that's good. She will be back on Thursday, I think.

I have so much going on in my mind. Other negative things around me are too much. I don't see why she should always express her moodiness to others.

Am I being unreasonable? It affects me and makes me feel more sad. @lavenderhaze

Re: Not Coping

volunteering will be nice, I know how much people in refinement homes value that kind of connection

Re: Not Coping

Hi @Birdofparadise8

Thanks for the tag. Just took a trip to Bunnings.

Now inside with the air con on.

Hi also @lavenderhaze @ArraDreaming

Re: Not Coping

Yeah, it will be good. Beneficial for both of us.

Hi @Snowie I love bunnings.

Re: Not Coping

I'm guessing you are talking about your room mate @Birdofparadise8 That time away might make things a little better.

Love Bunnings too. Can go in just for a look and come out with an arm full of things!!

Re: Not Coping

Yeah, but it's like I'll say hey, how are you? She is so quiet and moody about it. The other one isn't.

I'll just have to accept it and get over it like everything else I need to accept from the past few days.

It's so hard. @Snowie

I know so fun.

Re: Not Coping

We do have those hard moments in life @Birdofparadise8 and no doubt you have been through a lot in the past week. That will probably be magnifying things too. Things that didn't worry/annoy you in the past might now.

Hopefully that will pass and things can get back to 'normal'.

Re: Not Coping

Yeah, maybe, but her behaviour has been going on for a few weeks.

They also love to leave their dishes around and clean ones there for days on end. It's so annoying. I'm always the one taking the rubbish out.

They even went out last night and got some dessert and didn't ask me. @Snowie

I would have loved to go.

Re: Not Coping

I get it @Birdofparadise8 It is hard when they exclude you and don't take your feelings into account. Just an invite would have been nice. To think about your feelings would have been thoughtful.

Unfortunately you cannot control what others think or do. All you can control is how you deal with it in the aftermath. Yes even that is hard to do sometimes. Something I try and continue to work on for myself.

Have you got any plans for this afternoon? Perhaps something nice for yourself.

Re: Not Coping

I've got the volunteer thing I think you liked @Snowie

I know they could have knocked on my door and asked. They've done a few things together. I like pancakes they are yummy.

Oh well I'll just have to get over even more rejection now.
