Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

Yes, well, when that job was perfect. I've worked in a diabetes center before, and once I get my master's I want to work in diabetes. as a dietitian, and so the admin experience would help with that @ArraDreaming

Yeah, I'm looking for admin jobs. I've found a few so far.

Re: Not Coping

Yeah but I mean you might find that job again at a different company and it will be the best thing for you @Birdofparadise8

Re: Not Coping

Also what is diabetes admin curious to know

Re: Not Coping

There are only a couple of other hospitals. I'm so sick of applying for jobs @ArraDreaming

It's been six months.

Re: Not Coping

Oh well, you help with the admin side of the hospital with diabetes patients, whether that is inpatient, outpatient, or telehealth. I'd do admissions and discharges. Talk to patients and gather their details and I'd update their blood glucose levels and help with the gestational diabetes sessions with the nurse. That was in Hobart and I really loved that job. @ArraDreaming

Re: Not Coping

Oh like the Diabetes unit @Birdofparadise8 is that outpatients?

Re: Not Coping

In hobart it was @ArraDreaming

Re: Not Coping

Would you be open to other work outside of the diabetes specialisation at least for the time being? Like general admin at a school or hospital and then move into that? Just so you have income for a bit @Birdofparadise8

Re: Not Coping

Oh yes, any admin job. I was just so happy when I found this opportunity.

I need money. I don't have Centerlink anymore. @ArraDreaming
