Hahaha, yeah, I'm reading a good one, Icebreaker. I've got three chapters left. The last one I read, I was like oh wow. 

What's cisheteronormative? I don't think I've heard of it before. 

I think I have six or seven others with even more spice than this. It's a great way to learn, hahaha.

@creative_writer that's not good you had a reaction. I only use Natio or Nutrimetics on my skin now.

 

My skin has been breaking out of late, think it's hormonal. 

I'm channel surfing on Foxtel but not really taking much notice of what's on. It's more for company really.

@ENKELI, I don’t think my skin likes fermented yeast (though might work for some people), I think I ended up with fungal acne that even spot treatments weren’t very effective like there usually are with my normal occasional breakouts. It’s not fun trying to heal them but I found jojoba oil incredibly soothing for them

I'm nonbinary and queer, so romantic novels, rom coms, and anything where 'the guy gets the girl' simply don't appeal to me because I can't relate to them.

@ENKELI watching TV is still a good distraction 🙂. I can’t remember the last time I properly sat down and watched normal TV

@creative_writer sounds like a productive appointment. I'm glad your psych is encouraging you to allow space for those challenging emotions - the ones we're socially conditioned to suppress or see as wrong are just as human as the rest. They deserve to take up space in our hearts too. Expressing them healthily can be difficult, did you and your psych talk about some ways you could do that?
