Something’s not right

Not Coping

Re: Tw Not Coping

what was your essay on @creative_writer

oh theres lots of info on aboriginal or LBGTI groups but i dont want to do either of those tbh. i done my last assignments on each of those groups so want to pick another target group.
its not so much finding a group or the info its more the specific questions they want me to answer. i think i might go with young people as i can relate alot of the questions to peer pressure and stigma around mental health in young people it just might take me a little longer to find some of the more harder questions in political context

Re: Tw Not Coping

your essay sounds more interesting to me @Birdofparadise8 my brain is so health orientated it would keep me interested long enough to write the essay!

it would be hard moving away from family. maybe you can increase your phone calls to family members to help with the connection. at least you have your aunt and uncle near you

Re: Tw Not Coping

I talk to my parent more than my aunt and uncle now.

I can only see them every three weeks @outlander

I talk to my parents either not at all for a few days or a lot, lol.

I would prefer a nutrition essay

Re: Tw Not Coping

lucky your close to your family and have a good bond @Birdofparadise8

Re: Tw Not Coping

I don't talk to my parents about MH though @outlander

It's just too hard. I might say general things but nothing more.

Re: Tw Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8, moving away does make a difference. It’s hard when grandparents aren’t doing well and not knowing how they are doing😔. My mum had to fly out to see gran. Gran is out of the hospital now, thankfully

@outlander, it was on ageing and Alzheimer’s disease, we were also given case studies and had to chose from one. I can see why you would chose young people. Youth mental health is really fascinating, but I think being young does make it relatable

Re: Tw Not Coping

What happened to your nan @creative_writer

Re: Tw Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8, I don’t know, I wasn’t told much. What I know is she is better and out, just not back to her usual self yet

Re: Tw Not Coping

Ah ok @creative_writer

It’s a toss up between young people and prisoners but I think I can do young people abit better as it’s my age bracket so can use personal experiences. The other are the standard ones for target groups.

Yeah I get that @Birdofparadise8

Re: Tw Not Coping

Oh okay well I hope she will be okay @creative_writer

What are you both doing tomorrow @outlander @creative_writer?
