Hi @Shaz51 @tyme @Former-Member @Captain24 @Jake63 @RiverSeal @Former-Member @NatureLover @FloatingFeather
Hope everyone is well.
Does anyone know how I can try an manage suicidal thoughts while at work because they keep distracting me and I just wish I could concentrate on the work I have to do. They seem to come in waves sometimes stronger and other times not as much.
Thank you

Sorry you are having those thoughts. Can we think of them as just thoughts and let them float by?
One thing @tyme suggested to me was to ‘park’ a good memory in front of them. I have a photo of Pixie all muddy that I use. It makes me smile!
Do you have a memory from childhood that makes you smile?

Hi @Birdofparadise8,
I'm sorry that you are having these thoughts - it must be quiet distracting when you are at work. I'm just going to send you an email to check in with you. If you could reply when you could I would really appreciate it.
Warm regards,
FloatingFeather

@Captain24 I really love your suggestion from @tyme. I think `parking' a good memory in front of a negative memory is a great idea.
I also think that photo of your fur baby is gorgeous, and definitely made me smile!

Thank you @FloatingFeather @Captain24
I mostly have them when at home and stuff so it just so annoying that they like to creep up at work I'll be okay though.
I will have a think of something and see if that helps.

I wasn’t smiling at the time @FloatingFeather. It was my brand new house and the turf hadn’t been later yet. I yelled at her to not touch the walls then grabbed her and put her in the bath. It’s pretty funny now though. 18 months later and I can now laugh at it.

Hey @Birdofparadise8 ,
How are you? What's been happening? uni life? dance life? tv life? home life?
Hope you are well.
By the way, what's the answer to the 20 questions item?

Hi @tyme
The answer was a laptop I think.
I'm not great but I'm here at least so that's the main thing. I had work today so that was okay. Ballet is going well 9 days till the dance concert. I just can't stop having the suicidal thoughts that are so awful, but I am safe so that all good.
How are you?
