Re: FACING THE DARKNESS

My Christmas present to myself this year is not to touch any Alcohol

And my decision makes me feel Happy

😁

Re: FACING THE DARKNESS

I rang the RSPCA

To report fatigued birds and birds under duress in Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne

But the RSCPA Operator did a prank and thought it was all a joke

It was important to me and the RSPCA didn't pass the test

I know its not a usual Saneforums topic

But it was important to me

Whats wrong with a bit of compassion anyway

Re: FACING THE DARKNESS

Hey @Happyness
I just saw this. How did your Christmas present to yourself go? It's a lovely idea
I know that the RSPCA didn't help much but I'm wondering if you've put out water for the birds in your area. We useyd to have a small clam shell pool that we filled on hot days with fresh water. The birds would all come and drink and cool themselves in it. I hope you get some rain soon. I'm in SA and we have had some good rain today. Hopefully it's headed your way. Take care 💜😊

Re: FACING THE DARKNESS

I have two bird baths in the garden and half a wheel. The birds love it.

Obviously i got a fright

But i'm safe and i'm home

It was quite unexpected

But i'm safe
