Changing meds

Re: Changing meds

Hi gorgeous lady @Anastasia

How are you going my dear friend? Is your boy back in hospital? I know how difficult that is, but he'll be receiving round the clock care and safer. Still doesn't make your pain any easier though.....which I know is so hard on you.

Thank you for checking in - you're so kind and thoughtful. I'm doing well coming off the anti anxiety med I was taking and it's been replaced with one no where near as strong and have started tapering that down already too. This has to be down slowly over time, but we've got a finishing date to work towards. Starting a new AD today, so hopefully no nasty immediate side effects. The plan is to go home Tuesday. I'm sleeping a bit better, and that makes the world of difference. There's a few other patients that we have a chat when we see each other, and that human interaction feels so good! There's also some very ill patients here (a variety of different ages) and that can make me feel sad. But also grateful that my diagnosis isn't the same. Mixed emotions always circling around.

Have to develop a routine for when I go home, so I don't fall backwards. That's my homework over the weekend.

Always in my thoughts @Anastasia  xx 💞

Re: Changing meds

Hi gorgeous lady @Anastasia

Lots and lots of cuddles with little Levi - he is good medicine/therapy for me. I'm so lucky to have him🐶🐾 We just got back from the park actually.

I felt a bit weird when I arrived home y'day - some mixed emotions. I'm much more settled

today, even though I still woke at 5am, like I did in hospital. I was really looking forward to being in my own bed and getting more sleep. Maybe tonight 🤞

Hope you and your boy are alright, always thinking of you 💞
