Who's Up for a Random Chat?

Re: Who's Up for a Random Chat?

Hi @Shaz51 ;

S3, sorry not familiar with the abbreviation. Tuna bakes are great, although I once did have a friend serve me a disastrous tuna mornay.

Went to watch my son play cricket in Melbourne yesterday only for the opposition to forfeit, still it was nice to see my young man.

Have a great day and keep the chat going

Hello @tyme

Can you please tag me when you next post a Thursday Peer Group Chat and a Sunday Hangout?

Excuse me if I have missed the latest post.

Thank you

Re: Who's Up for a Random Chat?

Beautiful Pom Pom tree @Shaz51 !

Hello @Shaz51@Trentosaures@Alittleorange and @Ainjoule,

How are you all travelling tonight?

I like your tags.

I love that you made the effort to create something you can actually pronounce or a clever play on words. LOL

Re: Who's Up for a Random Chat?

hi @11235812 ,

I am doing OK, a little tired from work.

What I like is that SANE developed an anonymous platform is at opens up communication, enhances feelings of personal safety and makes you feel safer and more confident as a member.

Well done SANE.

That's so great to hear @Alittleorange

From a participant's point of view, I totally agree with you too!

Re: Who's Up for a Random Chat?

@Alittleorange @tyme

Sometimes being an anonymous platform is frustrating especially when you have made a close connection with someone.

Re: Who's Up for a Random Chat?

Certainly has it's pros and cons @Oaktree @Alittleorange .

I think it's about your stage in recovery and how you want to utilise the platform.

Otherwise we may end up offering what other identifying platforms offer which probably defeats the purpose of SANE forums?

In my own recovery, I'm pretty sure that if I had to be identifiable like FB, Insta etc, I'd feel unable to post as liberally as I have done in the past.

At the same time, I hear what you are saying in terms of wanting to connect to those you have a strong relationship with.
