We had Exploding Bottles of Home-Brewed Ginger Beer @Smc When I was a Kid, too....

I have my own Ginger Beer/ Stout Brewing kit (here) - I haven't used it in about 10 years.

I used Plastic Bottles (last few times) - So nothing could explode (they did Bulge a bit from Gas).
