We have had lots of rain and storms around lately.
here is a fact for you
. about 78% of our atmosphere is nitrogen. but not in a form that plants can absorb, rain isnt quite enough on its own. This is where lightning can help us! . The energy created during lightning storms can convert atmosphere nitrogen and oxygen into nitricoxide which then oxides into nitrogen dioxide and then to nitric acid which is then goes onto the earths surface in the rain and in a form that can be taken up by plants.

so moral of the story is we like lightening, and it also costs us nothing and we don’t have to buy fertiliser
