@tyme She is such a snuggle bug at this age! I have been trying to introduce her to different people so that she is friendly. Obviously she can't socialise with other dogs yet, but the first thing I will do when she gets all of her shots is take her to puppy school.

@tyme Hey. Here is a picture of my little one yesterday. We are co-sleeping now, carefully...I tried to get her to sleep in the crate but I was getting up too often. In the picture she is leaning up against her travel bag. She will generally go in it without whinging too much. She is a bit bitey ....but I will try to teach her to leave my fingers alone.
Zigi out and about yesterday

@tyme Yes, true....I have booked her in for puppy school, so hopefully she learns a thing or two. I finally got her microchip officially signed over to me so no turning back now, lol!

Over 15 years ago, puppy school for my labrador cost over $1000. How much does it cost now? @Ainjoule

@tyme Yikes. This puppy school is only 4 sessions of 1 hour and 15 minutes long each session...probably better characterised as puppy pre-school, lol...so that is costing me $280...which is a fair bit, but I need to teach her to sit ASAP....I have lofty aspirations of teaching her to be an assistance dog but in all honesty I don't know if she has the right temperament for that. And I don't know if I am tough and persistent enough with her to teach her. Aside from that, for basic obedience I will have to look at what options their are in the area for more training. My Dad use to be part of a local dog club, so hopefully that is cheaper over the long run.

Oh, then my puppy school was different back then @Ainjoule . She boarded there for a week or so and it was rigorous training.

@tyme Haha, no I'm not sending her to boarding puppy school....yet. Although that is an interesting concept. I've been trying to teach to sit but she gets so excited about the treat dangling in front of her that she gets up her hind legs or flips over trying to reach it. So I need lessons on how to get her to sit as much as she does, lol. How well behaved is your labrador now? p.s. sorry I realised you said over 15 years ago...might have crossed the rainbow bridge....how well disciplined was your labrador?
