Bored at home who wants to talk

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

Sounds great 🙂 @Zoe7

Exciting!

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

I really do @ArraDreaming I love my job, love the kids and even love doing the work to help them out.

I have individual programs for all my kids and whilst it is a lot of work to set up, it is also so rewarding seeing them learn.

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

I have never had a straight grade before @tyme so it will be a little new for me but I am looking forward to it after this year not being such a great year (not the kids - they are amazing).

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

some teachers are just made for it @Zoe7 and your passion for it is really coming through

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

Funny you should say that @ArraDreaming I have always thought you would be great with kids - you speak so lovingly of your own and have such patience with them - super impressed by both those things ❤️

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

that’s very kind thank you @Zoe7

I wonder how I would go with kids all day and then going home to my own kids though, i think maybe my tendency to get overwhelmed or socially burnt out means I can probably only invest mental energy into one of those things but it’s really nice of you say that @Zoe7

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

Yeah I get that @ArraDreaming I would not want to come home to more kids - fur babies yes - they just snuggle and don't ask much.

Maybe one day, when your kids are older, it might be something you could think of. I have some anxious little ones in my class and having that experience myself, it is easy to help them. Your vast experience would be an asset. We have some absolutely wonderful Teacher's Aids and that is something I could see you do - even part time. You would be wonderful at it.

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

I had a pretty horrid school experience so would be cool to kind of go back and be a support to kids who need it @Zoe7

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

...and that is why someone like you @ArraDreaming is so much needed in the education system. We cannot simply put kids in 'boxes', they all have their own needs and things to deal with - and you know just how hard that is so would be so good to relate to those kids. Maybe in the future it is a path you could take ...and you never know - you could work in a school garden with some of those kids (or get one up and running for a school). How cool that would be😁

Re: Bored at home who wants to talk

I have been wanting to do that my sons school @Zoe7 just timing didn’t work out and stuff cool though
