Maybe referral was denied due to thwt psychiatrist not taking patients? Many have either long waiting lists or can’t take new patients on. I’m really hoping the new referral will go smoothly. Are you having a medicine review or therapy? 

My GP has given me something to help relax the severity, though I’m sure it’s helping the symptoms are still severe. It’s hard isn’t it.

@Cuddlebear I am seeing the psychiatrist for a medicine review. Do you get side effects from your medication? My antidepressant has given me high blood pressure, so I have been put on medication for that and the antipsychotic that I used to have gave me high cholesterol and increased my glucose levels/ Oh and of course the big on, I have gained so much weight that it too is impacting my health. But I change the antipsychotic a few months ago, and I have already started to lose a bit of weight. I am due to have a blood test to get everything checked again, so it will be interesting to see if my cholesterol and glucose levels have also gone down.

It is so hard changing these types of medication. I remember that when I was going through the tapering of my medication about 10 years ago, I was already having issues with my niece, but on her birthday, I wanted to drop her present at the door and then sneak away, as I didn't want to see her. As I was about to get in my car, my parents arrived. I can't remember what my mum asked me, but apparently, I just went off on a tangent. My mum said in later years, that she has never seen me that mad or agitated in all of my life. So it must have been pretty bad. I always tell people that I turn into a mega bitch when i have to change medication.

I am glad that you have been given something to help relax the severity of it. Imagine how much worse it would have been without that. But yes, it is bloody horrible what you are going through. I really feel for you ❤️

Let's just say i haven't slept yet cos some silly person set off fireworks which triggered flashbacks. So I've been chatting to my friend and snuggling with my puppy.

This was my baby Russell, we used to snuggle all the time. I really miss him. He was a very loyal & loving dog.
